Our Mission

To rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home dogs in need through advocacy, fostering, and adoption. We are committed to giving every dog a second chance at a safe, loving future.

We also sponsor neuter/spay surgeries, core vaccinations and microchips for dogs in need.

We envision a world where every dog is safe, loved, and free from abuse, neglect, and abandonment.

About us

WHAT WE DO

The dogs in our care are VERY important to us. With the limited number of resources and fosters we have, we are currently focusing on rescuing, vetting and caring for only two dogs at a time. When one of our dogs finds a home, we take in another dog who needs our support.

01

RESCUE

We rescue dogs from difficult situations—providing immediate safety while also meeting their essential needs.

02

REHABILITATE

We provide full veterinary care—vaccines, spay/neuter, microchipping—along with endless love and TLC to help each dog heal.

03

REHOME

We thoughtfully match each dog with a loving forever family where they can feel safe, cherished, and truly at home.

WHO WE ARE

The Arlo Foundation is a compassionate, volunteer-driven dog rescue dedicated to giving every dog the chance at a safe, healthy, and loving life. We believe that every dog—no matter their past—deserves kindness, care, and a place to call home.

Our work centers around three core pillars: rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming. We step in when dogs are at risk, providing immediate safety and meeting their most essential needs. From there, we ensure each dog receives comprehensive veterinary care——along with the time, patience, and love needed to heal and thrive.

We are also deeply rooted in our community, partnering with fosters, adopters, and supporters who share our vision of a more humane world for animals. As an all-volunteer organization, every effort is fueled by passion, generosity, and the belief that even small acts of kindness can change a life.

WHO IS ARLO?

Arlo is our miracle puppy. 💙 He was found on a busy road, hiding beneath a bush—abandoned and injured, trembling from cold, fear, and hunger.

He was nothing but skin and bones, his paws bloody and worn from trying to survive on his own.

The local county shelter was notified, but they were completely full, and with Arlo’s fearful demeanor, his chances of making it out were slim. Thankfully, a compassionate foster stepped in, providing him safety and care through his stray hold and beyond. When his stray hold ended, we welcomed Arlo into our fold. He was vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, and officially placed up for adoption.

Today, Arlo, now renamed Dash, lives with a wonderful, patient family who love him unconditionally. With time, consistency, and love, he slowly began to come out of his shell. As his confidence grew and his personality blossomed, so did their bond with him.

Along the way, Arlo brought his supporters together. Inspired by his journey and the impact one life can have, we made it official—committing ourselves to saving more dogs just like him. And just like that… The Arlo Foundation was born. 🐶✨
