FOSTER A DOG
Fostering saves lives. By opening your home to a dog in need, you give them the stability, love, and care they need while they wait for their forever family.

Please help us help dogs!
Foster With The Arlo Foundation
At The Arlo Foundation, fostering is at the heart of everything we do. By opening your home to a dog in need, you become a vital part of their journey from uncertainty to safety, love, and ultimately, a forever home.
Our mission is to keep dogs out of overcrowded shelters whenever possible. Many of the dogs we help are strays, owner surrenders, or at risk of entering the shelter system. Foster homes give them a safe, loving environment where they can decompress, heal, and show their true personalities.
As a foster, you provide temporary care — and we provide the support. The Arlo Foundation covers essential needs like food, treats, bed etc, and veterinary care, including vaccinations, spay/neuter, and other medical needs. We also help fund the dogs’ training, if and when needed.
Fostering not only saves a life — it creates space for us to help even more dogs in need.
Whether you can foster for a few weeks or a few months, your kindness makes a lasting impact.
You are the heart and soul of our rescue!
