Murphy was a gentle senior soul who had been abandoned on the streets and left to endure unimaginable pain. He spent months in a shelter, his chances of finding a home growing slimmer with each passing day.
 

Then, everything changed. One of our board members met Murphy, fell in love with him, and gave him the home he had always deserved.

 

After undergoing multiple surgeries, Murphy finally began to experience comfort, care, and love. Sadly, his time was short. He passed away just a few months later due to heart failure—likely the result of years of neglect and suffering.
 

While his loss is heartbreaking, we find comfort in knowing that Murphy’s final chapter was filled with love, dignity, and joy. He was cherished, celebrated, and never alone again.
 

In his honor, The Arlo Foundation created The Murphy Fund, a medical assistance program dedicated to helping dogs in need.
 

The Murphy Fund supports:

• Spay and neuter procedures

• Vaccinations

• Blood tests

• Microchipping

• Other essential medical care
   

This program is designed to help pet parents who may not have the financial means to provide these critical services.
 

Because of Murphy, many more dogs now have a chance at a healthier, happier life.
